Tackling Labor Shortages: SpinRobotics' Innovative Plug-n-Produce Solution
A member survey from Dansk Erhverv shows that 34% of Dansk Erhverv's 734 companies experience a shortage of labor, which reduces their opportunities for turnover and growth.
Despite ergonomics becoming a global phenomenon, not all companies invest in improving the working conditions of their employees. Employees are subjected to heavy lifting, high work pace, monotonous and repetitive movements, etc. In other words, a work environment that risks straining and potentially resulting in work-related injuries.
At SpinRobotics, we have just launched a brand-new solution to this problem. It's called Plug-n-Produce and comes with either the SD35 or SD70 screwdrivers. Plug-n-Produce is aimed at helping companies produce at an even higher level, thus increasing turnover and growth. It's a ground-breaking and highly advanced "plug and play" screwdriver that, with the push of a button, can insert screws at the same speed as a human. Our solution is designed to collaborate with employees, not replace them. Plug-n-Produce collaborates in an entirely new way. There's no longer a need for a large fence and sensors around the machine. This means that employees can work closely with their Plug-n-Produce product. The idea is that an employee manages one or more machines, which increases efficiency and addresses ergonomic challenges.
In recent years, there has been an increase in the use of robotics in companies, but the number is still relatively low compared to the challenge of labour shortages. According to Danmarks Statistik, a Danish governmental organization, only 23% of companies with at least 10 employees use robot technology. By implementing Plug-n-Produce, companies can effectively address labour shortages while retaining employees. Using Plug-n-Produce's technology, companies can always access data, ensuring high productivity is maintained.
At SpinRobotics, we hope that PP35/70 is just a step towards a future with more automation in companies and better ergonomic conditions.
