The Solution

Hellbender integrated Spin Robotics' screwdriver module into its Cobotic Workcell, a collaborative assembly cell designed and deployed in-house. The cell handles screwdriving autonomously while operators load, unload, and manage the surrounding assembly steps - a collaborative workflow that keeps people focused on judgment-intensive work and hands the repetition to the robot. Since deployment, this Cobotic Workcell has produced over 30,000 products – roughly 300,000 screws.
